"For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. So death is at work in us, but life in you. ... So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. ... Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. ... For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised. ... Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."
